Odiseo is a magazine that sits out there all on its own, and that alone makes it one of our favourites. Yes it's basically adult content, but its all very soft focus and littered with high brow, culturally adept writing. Think of Playboy in the early sixties, raise the IQ by 10-20 points, and you will get the general idea. In fact that's probably being unfair on Odiseo magazine. Whether it's a discussion on Charles Darwin, philosophy or Franz Liszt, Odiseo will work many different different areas of the brain.
Featuring Lina Scheynius' self portraits, Jo Schwab's 'Habitual Grace', and Amy Hood as seen by the lens of Jonathan Leder. Including a critical study on hipsterism today by Eugenia Lapteva, a long-distance call with Yuri Suzuki, and Timo Mashiyi-Veikkola's view on collective identity and mass culture.
