This color Annual includes the winning selections from entries into the TDC56 Typography Competition, and the winning selections from entries into the TDC2 2010 Type Design Competition and TDC INTRO 010, the motion graphics competition.

Typography 31 also includes a reprinting of the original catalog pages from the fifth TDC Competition from 1961. Reprinted here in the context of the Annual are many of the classic works of modernist typography from that time.
